If a colony of bats is found at a school:<\/p>\n

  1. The school should notify IPM personnel, who will determine the best way to exclude or remove the colony.<\/li>\n
  2. The principal should notify parents, explaining the situation and plans for removing and excluding the colony.<\/li>\n
  3. During and after the exclusion process, the campus should be put on a 4-week watch period, when IPM personnel will inspect the interior and exterior of the facility for any signs of bats.
