If you missed out on the first\u00a0Beef 706 class,\u00a0there is still time to join in!\u00a0 The program is designed to help producers maximize profits and have a better understanding of what influences feeder cattle value.\u00a0 Our next session will be held Saturday, October\u00a020th 9:00 am at Texana Feedyard in Floresville.\u00a0\u00a0The program will include a tour of the feedyard and evaluation of the Beef 706 steers.\u00a0 Lunch will also be served.\u00a0 See the agenda below for more information and check out the videos of the steers at\u00a0http:\/\/brush706.blogspot.com<\/p>\n

The final program will be held October 29-30 in College Station.\u00a0 The cattle will be harvested, graded\u00a0and fabricated into closely trimmed retail cuts (boxed beef).\u00a0 Mark these dates on your calendar!\u00a0 If you are planning to attend either the 20th or 29-30th, please call the Extension Office at 210-631-0400 and let me know.<\/p>\n
