We hope you will join us for our Annual Entomophagy (Bug Eating) Event.\u00a0 This year we are partnering with the San Antonio Botanical Gardens and several chefs to provide a family fun, bug eating lunch on October 20th<\/span><\/sup><\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Family events are free with regular admission, but if you want to partake in the insect gourmet, cost is $25\/adult and $10\/child.\u00a0 <\/span>We may run out of tastings, so please consider registering early instead of at the door at <\/span>sabot.org<\/a><\/p>\n

This year, expect tons of fun for the kids including face painting, painting with cochineal scales and other insects, craft activities and games.\u00a0 Food will be a gourmet 4 course tasting (held at 10:30 and 12) and demonstrated by various chefs from around San Antonio.\u00a0 We are also providing an educational presentation on entomophagy from Little Herds founder, Robert Nathan Allen and a presentation on pollinator gardening by San Antonio\u2019s very own horticulturist, David Rodriguez.<\/span><\/p>\n
