This is a reminder of the upcoming final session of the Urban Wildlife Series which will be held on Tuesday, August 14th<\/sup><\/span>.\u00a0 We will begin with breakfast from 8:00-9:00 a.m., followed by a tour of the Medina River Natural Area. The Medina River Natural Area is located at <\/span>15890 Highway 16 South, San Antonio, Texas\u00a0 78264.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>We will <\/span>gather at the pavilion for breakfast tacos and a short introductory session.\u00a0 Next, we will be touring the area, doing some birding and identifying some of the local flora and fauna.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you have binoculars, please be sure to bring them as well as water shoes\/waders (if you want to get in the river for the demonstrations).\u00a0 Please wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing as we will be out in the elements.\u00a0 It might also be a good idea to pack your favorite insect repellent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please reference the following guides PRIOR<\/i><\/span> to our field day; they are great resources for aquatic and riparian plants in our region.\u00a0 We WILL NOT be able to provide you hard copies of these guides. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
