The Bexar County Farm Bureau will sponsor refreshments both evenings.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Register by contacting Denise Perez at <a href=\"tel:(210)%20631-0400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">210-631-0400<\/a> or\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:dsperez@ag.tamu.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dsperez@ag.tamu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis course is for beef cattle producers at all experience levels and will offer information on a variety of topics of interest to producers,\u201d said Sam Womble, AgriLife Extension agent \u00a0for agriculture and natural resources, Bexar County. \u201cIn a relatively short time period, this course will provide a lot of practical advice and useful knowledge that can be applied to almost any beef-cattle operation.\u201d<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Womble said the program will also have door prizes and a vendor area. Three hours of Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units \u2014 two in integrated pest management and one general \u2014 will be offered for attending both sessions.<u><\/u><u><\/u><u><\/u>\u00a0<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>The <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2097738390\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 9<\/span><\/span> course agenda will include:<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing Replacement Heifers and Adding Value to Cull Cows and Bulls, Dr. Joe Paschal, AgriLife Extension livestock specialist, Corpus Christi.<\/li>\n<li>Cattle Fever Tick Situation, Dr. Brodie Miller, Texas Animal Health Commission regional director, Beeville.<\/li>\n<li>Supplemental Feeding Strategies, Paschal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2097738391\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 16<\/span><\/span> agenda will include:<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brush\/Grazing Management 101: Back to the Basics, Drs.
