Instead of a traditional post I&#8217;ve decided to share some of my ongoing work with you. I&#8217;ve worked with a group of economists from the Southeastern region on a series of videos called Meat Market Minutes. The panel includes <a href=\"https:\/\/agecon.tamu.edu\/faculty-staff\/faculty\/anderson-david\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. David Anderson<\/a> of Texas A&amp;M AgriLife Extension,\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/extension.msstate.edu\/agricultural-economics\/dr-joshua-gilchrist-maples\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Josh Maples<\/a> of Mississippi State University Extension, Drs. <a href=\"https:\/\/agecon.ca.uky.edu\/person\/kenny-burdine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kenny Burdine<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/agecon.ca.uky.edu\/person\/jordan-shockley\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Shockley<\/a> of the University of Kentucky&#8217;s College of Agriculture Food and Environment, and Drs. <a href=\"https:\/\/utia.tennessee.edu\/person\/?id=19842\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Charles Martinez<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/utia.tennessee.edu\/person\/?id=7265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Andrew Griffith<\/a> of the University of Tennessee&#8217;s Institute of Agriculture<\/p>\n<p>Our goal was to shed some light on the grocery side of the livestock and meat sector. We discussed markets for lamb, dairy products, poultry, eggs, beef, and pork.
