Led by Dr. Patrick J. Stover, Vice Chancellor and Dean for Agriculture and Life Sciences, Texas A&M AgriLife provides teaching, research, extension, and service to the state of Texas and beyond.
A part of the Texas A&M University System, one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, Texas A&M AgriLife is comprised of Texas A&M AgriLife Research, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the Texas A&M Forest Service, and the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. These agencies conduct vital research and outreach and provide critical services to Texans, while also reaching across the globe to improve agriculture and natural resources. As dean, Dr. Stover also oversees the Texas A&M University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, one of the largest colleges of its kind in the nation.
In addition, AgriLife Administrative Services, AgriLife Information Technology, and AgriLife Communications, as well as the Offices of Advancement, Federal Relations and External Relations, provide support to more than 5,000 AgriLife employees statewide.
Together, we are serving Texans and our global neighbors, providing solutions, and educating future leaders in agriculture and the life sciences.
