The upcoming 2017 National Extension and Research Administrative Officers Conference (NERAOC) will be held in…. drumroll please….

San Antonio, Texas!

Step to the beat of wafting flamenco music as you wander the downtown River Walk before sampling as much chili (San Antonio’s signature dish) as your taste buds will allow. A visit to the Alamo is an absolute must, as is taking in a show at the ornate Majestic Theatre.

During our time at the NERAOC Conference, one of the nation’s premier festivals, Fiesta® San Antonio, will be in full swing. It began as a way to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. This major festival presents an educational annual celebration of the diverse heritage, culture and spirit of San Antonio, and this year marks it’s 125th anniversary.
