Are You Financially Savvy?
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service ~ Tarrant County has began recruiting for their 2015 Dollar$ & $ense Volunteer program. The Dollar$ & $ense program is a train the trainer program that provides training on teaching financial management topics in the community. The training focuses on developing and using spending plans, tracking expenses, managing credit and understanding risk.
The volunteer training consists of 30 hours of educational training with a minimum of 30 hours give back to Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service ~ Tarrant County. Extension has a long history of utilizing volunteers to assist in extending educational programs in the county. Extension provides research based programs that offer participants unbiased information. To achieve the 30 hours of educational training we will have 20 hours face to face and 10 hours of self-study to complete on your own.
Are you interested in helping others learn how to manage money better? Are you interested in growing more money savvy? Do you have the desire to give back to your community? Then consider being a Dollar$ & $ense Volunteer.
The training will be Friday’s, October 2, 9, 16, 23, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Tarrant County Plaza Building, 200 Taylor Street, Suite 500, Fort Worth, TX 76102. The cost for the training is $50. Please contact of our office to receive your application and criminal background check form. Paperwork and payment are due by Friday, September 25, 2015.
