UAS Research Objective
Plant height and growth curves of maize (better estimates of yield and stress resistance), stand counts, abiotic and biotic stress
Brief Biography
Program focused on quantitative genetic discovery for crop improvement (QTL & GWAS mapping), applied maize (corn) breeding for yield, aflatoxin resistance, and stress tolerance in Texas, as well as long-term breeding for perennial maize and sorghum.
