APPLICATION

Deadline to Apply: October 11, 2025

Thanks for your interest in this hands-on pregnancy ultrasound workshop. Over two days, attendees will have the choice to learn to preg-scan either small ruminants or cattle, as well as best management practices to increase production in your flocks/herds. All equipment will be provided, however if you have an ultrasound you are encouraged to bring it.  Access to a machine can be a limiting factor to utilize this skill in the future, therefore this should be an important consideration for all who apply.

This course will prepare you to utilize this technology to determine pregnancy, count litter sizes and estimate fetal ages in your own flocks or herds. This course is not a certification, and it should be noted that providing ultra sounding services for a fee is not legal in TX for non-veterinarians.

We will take applications until October 11th, 2025.  Due to space and hands-on instruction, there is a limited number of applicants that will be accepted into the workshop.  Selection of applicants will be based on residence, interest in the workshop, and date of submission.  Applicants will be notified via email of their acceptance into the workshop by October 15th, 2025. Detailed instruction of the course will accompany this notification, along with instruction for payment.
