    Howdy!

Are you still selling lamb? I am looking for lamb chops.

    Thanks,
    Parveen

  2. Andy says:

Lamb whole carcass – is that processed or DIY? Sorry for my ignorance but I only know beef sides. Also: do you have freezer boxing/chests (like wax boxes) available for picking up?

    • rriley says:

We offer lamb carcasses whole and cut and wrapped. We also have a variety of lamb cuts available in our retail area. We do not have freezer chest and I’m not familiar with the term wax bones. I hope this helped. Please come in to our store to see what we have that might meet your needs.

    Do you sell ground lamb?

    • rriley says:

We sell ground lamb in 1 pound packages at $5.99 per pound. Thanks.

  4. Denise Williams says:

What kind of lamb do you raise?

    • Mica Ham says:

We do not raise our own lamb, we purchase the lamb from 4Hers at the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo. Lambs processed at Rosenthal Center are from young animals, usually less than one year of age. These lambs produce carcasses that are almost always equivalent to U.S. Choice or U.S. Prime. The lamb cuts are closely trimmed and contain a high proportion of lean.

  5. Courtney Hill says:

When you purchase the lamb carcass do you guys around the lamb?

  6. James says:

Do you sell lamb by the half? If so what would that cost/lb?

    • r-riley says:

When we have lamb carcasses available, we could sell you a half. The price will depend on the market price of lamb.

  7. Catherine Gibson says:

Appx what is the typical weight of the carcasses?

    • megan.carter12 says:

We do not currently have any lamb carcasses for sale.

  8. Anne says:

I live in Brenham, and do not come over too often. I just got the email that the ground lamb is $2.99. Is there a certain amount I need to buy for that price? Do I need to order it to pick up on March 13? Do you have lamb shanks now?

    • megan.carter12 says:

There is no certain amount that you must purchase. We sell them by 1 lb packages. You do not need to order, just come in our store Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm. At this time we are currently out of lamb shanks.

      • Anne says:

I am going to come on march 13-14, will you have shanks then or should I order to try to get a couple?
        How about the pepper bacon?
