Domestic and International Trade

International trade is the exchange of capital, goods and services across international borders or territories. It has been present throughout much of history, its economic, social and political importance has been on the rise in recent centuries.

Texas A&M AgriLife Research and the Norman Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture, the global outreach unit of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M, employ agricultural scientist to feed the world’s hungry, and support equity, economic growth, quality of life and mutual respect among peoples.

Through these programs, researchers help developing countries by improving education in, and fostering greater understanding of, international development, which shape international development strategies.
