Annual 4-H Pecan Sale Fund Raiser
Our fresh, Cheyenne pecans are grown right here in Texas and are shelled for your convenience. You may choose between halves or pieces (chopped). Pecans are great for baking and they are a great gift idea, to be used in stockings, baskets or alone. Contact the 4-H Office with your name and address to be added to our list so that you will receive a letter when members begin taking pre-orders. Pre-orders are being collected now for the 2012 4-H Pecan Sale. This year, for $10, you may purchase a full one pound bag of fresh Cheyenne pecans that are grown in Texas. After October 18th, the price will increase to $10.50, so get your orders in soon!

Tractor Supply Expands 4-H Support Programs
Enrollment is open for the Tractor Supply Clover Card! You can sign up for your free, exclusive card at the Tractor Supply website. You will receive periodic printable coupons via email and a 10% off introductory coupon just for joining. In addition, each time you make a purchase at a Tractor Supply store and use your card, your club will be entered into a random monthly drawing to win a $500 Tractor Supply gift card! The Tractor Supply Clover Card is not a discount card.
Tractor Supply launched a new line of private label feeds for cattle, pig, poultry, goat, and lamb on January 24, 2011; and for each bag purchased, Tractor Supply is generously donating $.25 to support 4-H Animal Science curriculum development. More information about this new opportunity will be made available at the Tractor Supply website.
The next “Paper Clover Campaign” arrives in the fall. Please watch Tractor Supply ads and 4-H news to know when you can purchase a paper clover for just $1 or $5! 100% of the proceeds will be split among state and county 4-H programs and National 4-H Council. The Montgomery County 4-H Shooting Sports club is working with Chiller Bee as a fundraiser for their club. The first Tuesday of every month, customers can mention “4-H Shooting Sports” when they make their purchase, so the club will receive 30% of the sale. Chiller Bee is located at I-45 and FM 3083 in Conroe in the Kohls Shopping Center.
