Science, Engineering & Technology

LEGO_Mindstorms_NXT

A programmable Lego Mindstorm Robot. A project that can be learned and worked on in Tech Team meetings.

The County 4-H Technology Team is a group of youth & adult members with an interest in science, engineering, technology, computer and information technology. Project ideas include GPS/GIS systems, web-cam meetings, digital photography, robotics, web page graphics and design aviation and much more.  The sky is the limit!  There are technology competitions and the new S.E.T. “Discovering the Scientific Method” poster competition at Round Up.

If you are interested in exploring an exciting new realm of possibilities within 4-H, please contact the 4-H Office.  The County Tech Project is also seeking adult volunteers and project leaders.  You do not need to be a computer genius to join or volunteer with the Tech Team!

Discover Scientific Method Poster Contest

The Discover Scientific Method Research Poster Contest is an avenue for 4-H members to learn about the scientific method, and exhibit their work of research of a question. The daily 4-H Project work can be used to inspire independent discovery on a topic of interest to the member. While following and learning the scientific method, 4-H members can develop another life skill in the field of science.
