Photography

The photography project encourages self-expression and teaches proper use of photographic equipment and developing processes.  Photography provides opportunities for career exploration and exploring 4-H.

There are many ways to get involved with the photography project.  Many clubs have active photography projects.  Contests include, but are Picture1not limited to:

District 4-H Photography Contest

In the District 4-H Photography Contest, members may submit one entry per division/class for a total of 4 entries per person.  Divisions/Classes include:  People, Animals-Wildlife, Animals-Domestic, Marine/Aquatic, Elements of Design.  These entries are submitted completely digitally.  Enter on 4-H Connect by April 1, 2012.  The actual photos are submitted via Shutterfly.  Entries are $5 per photo.  Visit the District 9 4-H Photography Website for more details.

State 4-H Photography Contest
