Ms. Donna Alexander

As Assistant Director for Fiscal Services and Chief Financial Officer for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Donna Alexander oversees all day-to-day financial operations of the agency. She is responsible for preparation of state legislative appropriation requests; ensures compliance reporting with local, state, and federal governments; provides ad hoc financial analyses and supervises purchasing, HUB, property, and fleet staffs for Texas A&M AgriLife Administrative Support Services. She has served in this capacity since August 2007. Prior to her current position, Ms. Alexander advanced through the contracts and budgets section of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, moving from Proposal/Budget Specialist to Staff Assistant to Assistant Manager of Contracts and Budgets to Manager of Budgets; serving in these various roles from 1994 to 2007. She received her BS in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 1992. Outside work, Ms. Alexander is a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Snook, Texas, where she enjoys mission work. She also enjoys fishing, camping and other outdoor activities.
