Harris Co. Club Officer Leadership Camp

August 10, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Leadership Camp will take place from 9am-5pm  (Location: Harris Co. extension Office) for all Harris Co. 4-H club officers. Get training on how to lead your club, what your role as an officer is, and how to make it fun! Come and share your ideas with other club officers from around the county!

THIS IS ALSO WHERE WE WILL ELECT COUNTY COUNCIL OFFICERS!

The Harris County 4-H Council is an organization comprised of elected Council officers and club representatives. The organization encourages youth leadership training and development, and meets to conduct business, plan county-based educational events and community service projects, and is a place where you can enjoy the company of fellow 4-H’ers.

Membership in the Harris Co 4-H Council is open to Harris County 4-H Club Presidents, First Vice-Presidents, and  your clubs’ Council Delegates. To run for an office, you MUST be eligible for Council Membership. Each club has a maximum of two votes (clubs to decide who will be voting delegates prior to camp or they will be randomly selected based on attendees) on matters requiring a vote.
