Ag/Timber Tax Exemption Renewal
Texas law requires a person claiming an exemption from sales tax on the purchase of certain items used to produce agricultural and timber products for sale to hold an Agricultural and Timber Exemption Registration Number (Ag/Timber Number). The law also requires the Ag/Timber Number to be renewed every four years on a uniform date, regardless of the date the number was first issued. Updates In Our Region: Dairy Heat Stress Roadshow Prepares Producers Dairy researchers and extension specialists have long recognized the results of heat stress on dairy cows. In response to this need a Dairy Heat Stress Road Show was developed to deliver educational programs in 4 states and Puerto Rico. A total of 260 participants attended the programs.
