Using the AgriLife Logos
Our logos represent our brand; we need to protect them by using them exactly as they are and by using them properly and consistently.
To protect them from unauthorized use, a few logos are not publicly available at this website, including the combined AgriLife Research and Extension logo. Please contact AgriLife Communications if you need a logo that isn’t available online.
When used in printed materials, a logo must be no smaller than 1 inch tall and 2-3/4 inches across. Logos must be prominently displayed, at minimum on the front and back covers of publications.
When using AgriLife logos in your layout, make sure there is one-quarter inch of space around the logo on all sides. Make sure that the logo you are using is the current “Texas A&M” version and not the older one using the “arch”.
Which one do you need?
- EPS files are vector and for designers or vendors,
- PNG/JPGs are for web/display use, and
- WMF is for use in Microsoft Office products (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint).
The marks and logos
Use the logo exactly as it is without changes in font or logo elements. If you have a special request, contact John Chivvis in AgriLife Communications at firstname.lastname@example.org or (979) 845-2601.
When using the logo in your layout, give it a quarter-inch of space around the logo on all sides. This ensures that our brand is highly visible to the audience.
Retain the sizing of the logo. When it must be resized, be careful to make sure that the proportions are maintained (this can often be accomplished by holding down the Shift key as you drag a corner of the image box).
When used in printed materials, the logo must be no smaller than 3/4 inch tall. The logo must be used so that it is highlighted in comparison to other graphic elements, either by size or by position—or both. For how to use logos in partnership and sponsorship situations, please contact John Chivvis in AgriLife Communications at email@example.com or (979) 845-2601.
When using the AgriLife logos, please do not:
- Alter or recreate the logos in any way
- Retype or change the logotype fonts
- Separate, repositions, or delete parts of the logo
- Remove anything, or add anything to the logo
- Rotate the logo
- Use colors other than those approved
- Stretch or distort the proportions of a logo
