The Texas 4-H Youth Development Program is excited to release two photography contests for the 2015-2016 4-H Year. These contests are:
Theme: For 2015-2016 the theme is “4-H, Ribbons, Awards and Recognition”. This year the theme will focus still life arrangements of 4-H awards, ribbons and recognition. The arrangement and positioning of items will be strongly evaluated as well as the quality of the photo. Photo should create emotion and have impact!
Changes to rules for 2016. A statement related to the fact that all photos must be the original work of the 4-H member submitting the photograph. No photograph can be submitted which has been taken by other 4-H members, a family member, or any printed/digital source. All photos will be scanned through a reverse image search.
The Texas State Preservation Board in partnership with the Texas 4-H Youth Development Program are pleased to present an annual photography contest for members of the Texas 4-H and FFA Programs. This photography contest allows 4-H and FFA members to showcase Texas Agriculture through photos.
A select number of the photographs will be displayed in the Texas State Capitol Agriculture Museum starting in early 2016. Selected photographs will feature a place card with the photographer’s name, city, and age. Photos will remain on display for one year in the Agriculture Museum.
