Summer has arrived and we are gearing up for summer events here at the Extension office. As many of you know it really never slows down much here. We always have something going on or at least planning for. I just wanted to pass along some upcoming deadline and events that will be happening this summer. Most of you know that our County awards banquet will be August 12, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Bandera at 6:30 pm. We will have a lot of things that will need to be done before that time, so be watching for deadlines. Here are some deadlines/events to keep in mind.

• Club basket items are due June 16, 2014 at the Extension office .
• County awards (gold, silver, bronze, ect) and raffle ticket money is due June 27,2014 at the Extension office.
• Bicycle Rodeo at Hill Country Elementary June 24, 2014 from 9am-12pm. Pre-register at Extension office.
• Remember to send the Extension office your new club officers for the new 4-H year.
• Club charter forms are due to the office by July 1, 2014.
• Club Manager training to be announced later.
• Council officer training  to be announced later.
• Club officer training to be announced later.
