Water Conservation and Plant Selection Workshop
The Water Conservation and Plant Selection program focusing on Earth Kind landscape principles is tomorrow evening Thursday, April 17th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Mansfield Park Recreation Center. To sign up, please contact the Extension Office at 830-796-7755. Topics include: design, Texas superstar plants, irrigation, mulching and fertilization. The registration fee is $10 and includes CEU credit.

A Private Applicator Training and Testing program will be offered on Thursday, April 24th at the Bandera County Extension Office, 2886 Hwy 16 N located at Mansfield Park. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with the training to follow at 8:30 a.m. The test will be administered after lunch at 1:00 p.m. This training is for people who do not have a pesticide license or those who had a license that expired at least a year ago. If you plan to attend, please contact the Extension Office by Thursday, April 17th to sign up. The program registration fee is $50 and includes study materials.
