Private Water Well Screening Day
Several cooperating entities including the Texas Well Owner Network, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District and the Texas Water Resource Institute with support from the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board have planned a water well screening event for area residents.
Individuals wishing to participate will be asked to contact the Bandera County Extension Office or the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District for sample bags and collection instructions. Collection materials will be available in the coming weeks. Water samples will be returned on Wednesday, November 6th and a meeting explaining the results will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7th at the BCRAGD. Cost is $10/sample.
