A state agency headquartered in College Station, AgriLife Extension has a vast network of 250 county Extension offices and some 830 statewide professional educators who are dedicated to improving the lives of people, businesses and communities across Texas and beyond through high-quality, relevant education. AgriLife Extension is an integral component of The Texas A&M University System and extends the land-grant mission of teaching, research, extension and service by partnering with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University, Texas AgriLife Research, Texas Forest Service and the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory.
